What is a Learning Agreement?
A Learning Agreement (LA) is a plan that details the subjects you plan to study during your mobility. The Learning Agreement and Transcript of Records guarantee the transcription of your grades for the courses you have completed during your exchange. The Learning Agreement consists of three parts: BEFORE, DURING and AFTER the Mobility.

Learning Agreement (LA) is a plan that details what courses you aim to take and pass during your mobility. It is a study plan drafted by you prior to your exchange listing down the courses you will attend during your semester abroad.

Three parties should sign the LA:

  • Home University (Departmental Coordinator of the WNPISM)
  • Host University (Instructions should be provided by the partner university upon acceptance)
  • Student

In case of changes to your study plan (eg. the course you originally planned to attend is unavailable or the schedule of the course does not match your other courses), your LA should be updated and signed again by all parties.

The final version of the LA and the transcript of records guarantee the transfer of credits for courses passed successfully by the exchange student.

Accepting the Learning Agreement

By selecting the option „Finish filling in and notifying the coordinator”, you confirm the completion of the LA and close the possibility of making changes to the LA. To unlock the editing tool, contact your faculty coordinator.

Once you have completed your Learning Agreement in USOS, email your faculty coordinator to request approval of your Learning Agreement. The coordinator does not receive email notifications from the system, so notify the coordinator by email typing in the subject line: LA Acceptance [Your Name and Surname] to  swzmpb@uw.edu.pl

If possible, avoid sending last-minute requests. During the Erasmus+ departure period, the Section responds within five working days.

Learning Agreement Procedure

The Learning Agreement (LA) should be signed by three parties – the mobility coordinator from the home university, the host university and the student. If your study plan changes, update your DURING- and AFTER- LA and request the signature of all three parties.
