People’s Republic of China (PRC) is a nation situated in East Asia. With a population of over 1.4 billion, it is the most populous nation in the globe, just ahead of India. China had 2,756 governmental schools and universities as of 2021. In addition to those institutions, 764 colleges and universities in China that year were privately established. There were 196 distinct nations and regions represented among the students studying in China in 2018. Only 20,996 pupils were from the United States, while 50,600 students, the majority, were from South Korea.
